I initially took this for peripheral nerve issues, but it surprisingly alleviated my lumbar pain too. After many hours of sitting at work, I experienced discomfort in my lower back and numbness in my left foot. I shifted to methylcobalamin for relief, and taking 10000 mcg daily greatly reduced my pain. I now take it twice a day, feeling amazed by the results.

This vitamin aids in recovering damaged nerves. I discovered that doctors prescribe B12 for neuralgia after herpes zoster, so I tried it for my family. It’s absorbed sublingually and has a delightful cherry flavour. I used to suffer from postherpetic neuralgia at night, but now I sleep well, suggesting it's effective. If the pain returns, I will use it again.

Sciatica improvement

After enduring sciatica for over half a year with pain from my buttocks to thighs, B12 supplemented along with vitamin D helped immensely. The pain vanished just three days after starting B12! My feet, which have been numb for a while, hopefully will improve too. These small tablets dissolve quickly under the tongue, and I take one daily.

Bone pain is a discomfort or ache that originates within the bones themselves and can range from mild to severe. It is different from muscle or joint pain, as it directly affects the skeletal structure. Bone pain can be caused by a variety of factors, including injuries, medical conditions such as osteoarthritis or osteoporosis, infections, or tumors. Symptoms may vary depending on the underlying cause but often include a dull, penetrating ache that may worsen with movement or pressure.
If you're experiencing persistent bone pain, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Imaging tests like X-rays, MRI, or CT scans may be utilized to determine the root cause of the pain. Treatment can vary widely, ranging from medications to alleviate pain and inflammation to physical therapy or, in some cases, surgical interventions. Understanding the underlying cause is crucial to effectively managing bone pain and ensuring the best path to recovery.
Vitamin B12, also known as cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that plays a crucial role in several vital functions in the human body. It is essential for red blood cell formation, neurological function, and DNA synthesis. Naturally occurring in animal products, the vitamin can be found in high concentrations in meat, fish, eggs, and dairy, making it particularly important for those following a vegetarian or vegan diet, as plant-based sources of B12 are limited and often require supplementation.
A deficiency in vitamin B12 can lead to serious health issues, including anemia, fatigue, memory problems, and nerve damage. Due to its significance, it's crucial for individuals, particularly those at risk of deficiency, to ensure adequate intake through diet or supplementation. For most adults, the recommended daily allowance (RDA) is around 2.4 micrograms, though pregnant or breastfeeding women may require higher amounts. If you're considering B12 supplements, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare provider to determine the best option for your specific needs and health status.
